Josh is Principal Counsel for Education Affairs at the University of California, Office of the President. He advises on a range of issues including nondiscrimination, free speech, access for undocumented students, and faculty misconduct, and chairs the office’s Pro Bono Committee. Josh was previously a litigator at Munger, Tolles & Olson, where he served as Co-Chair of the firm’s Pro Bono Immigration practice, regularly representing clients in immigration court and in guardianship proceedings. Prior to law school, Josh worked on President Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign. In addition to serving on LSC’s Board, Josh is a member of the Legal Services Corporation’s Emerging Leaders Council and OneJustice’s Advisory Board.
