Reyna joined LSC in 2005 as the Detained Immigrant Children’s Project (DICP) Coordinator. Her main focus was to provide direct support to detained youth. In September 2019, she transitioned to provide legal representation to youth in the community as a DOJ Accredited Representative and Immigration Rights Advocate. Reyna has found her passion at LSC working directly with immigrant youth. She received her law degree from New College School of Law of California. And she earned her Bachelor Degree in Psychology with a Minor in Criminal Justice from San Francisco State University. Prior to LSC, Reyna was a certified mediator, counselor, and she assisted adults and youth who faced substance misuse, domestic violence and HIV/AIDS-related issues. In her spare time, Reyna enjoys hiking, traveling, listening to music and spending quality time with her 4-legged babies.
