Stephany graduated from Golden Gate University School of Law in May of 2016 with experience in many fields of social justice work. Born and raised in the border town of El Paso, Texas, Stephany discovered her passion for immigrant rights and justice at a young age. She has pursued her passion for immigration justice through internships at organizations like La Raza Centro Legal, the Women’s Employment Rights Clinic at GGU, Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights, and Social Justice Collaborative. Beyond her work at LSC, Stephany enjoys sketching with graphite pencil and painting with watercolors and acrylic paint, reading, dancing, going to concerts, and traveling.
