Innovative Strategies to Reach Exploited Youth: New Report

In response to needs of foster youth who have exited their placements and at high risk of exploitation, Legal Services for Children, together with Safe & Sound, San Francisco Court Appointed Special Advocates (SFCASA), and the San Francisco Department on the Status of Women, developed the “Street Outreach Convening: Re-Engaging Youth in Services”, held in San Francisco on October 26, 2023. The convening brought together legal and social services professionals from across the San Francisco Bay Area with the overarching goal of improving care for systems-involved youth absent from placement by increasing collaboration between providers.
