Judy Ovando

Judy joined LSC in 2021 after a long career in the hotel hospitality business in her native San Francisco. She graduated from SFSU, with a Bachelors in Humanities, developing her sense of community involvement by tutoring children in the Mission school district and volunteering for Casa de las Madres. A proud daughter of immigrant parents, she immersed herself in her culture and language by traveling every summer, via car, from San Francisco to Mexico. The experience influenced her social awareness and her passion for working with a culturally diverse community.
