Jessica received a Master of Social Work (MSW) in 2016 and joined LSC in September 2017. A daughter of Mexican immigrants, she has always been passionate about immigrant rights and promoting social justice. As an LSC social worker, she offers support to newcomer immigrant youth, helping them integrate into their new communities and work toward their goals. Prior to joining LSC, she worked with youth in various capacities, including volunteer mentoring and as an advisor in a college readiness program. Jessica is fluent in Spanish.
